Paul & Lisa Burton wish you a warm welcome from us and the team 

Our aim at the Red Lion is to make your visit with us the best experience possible

We have been running a public house at the George Inn since March 2011. Paul, your Chef and landlord, previously worked as an executive development chef across the UK for a global catering organisation. Lisa your Licensee and landlady, worked in a number of public houses as a licensed support manager.


We both have a passion for what we do here at the Red Lion. For the food and service we offer you as well as serve the local community.  We cook and prepare all our food to order to ensure your food is of the highest quality. We are proud to say that our entire menu is Gluten Free!


We will always endeavour to serve you as promptly as possible. These menus show our daily offers and Sunday lunch menu. We can also offer you bespoke catering either at the  Red Lion  or externally, from buffets, dinners, lunches, wedding breakfasts, christenings, barbeques, hog roasts or a marquee in the garden. So please speak to a member of staff if there is an occasion we may be able to help you with.  


We are very proud of the fact that we use Kent suppliers and source our products locally whenever possible. If you have special dietary requirements please inform the staff & we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.

We have a loyal and long serving team at the Red Lion who share our goals and ideas making the Red Lion a homely and warm environment.
