Road Closure

The A251 is being closed (Temporarily) from 27 July 2020 for up to four weeks for a gas main replacement work. There will be signs at the A2 flyover and Charing roundabout say the Red Lion is open for customers. The stretch affected is from the entrance to Badlesmere village at The North Track of Badlesmere Lees, from Faversham to the Red Lion. At this the point the road will be closed. However, access is being maintained to the Red Lion from the Ashford direction. Again the road will be close thereafter. There will also be a diversion for customers via Leaveland from Faversham.
